What was the reason for considering the implementation of exoskeletons in your company?

Within our programs to improve the working conditions of the workers in our centers, it seemed to us an opportunity to establish this pioneering project for the implementation of exoskeletons to improve the conditions of manual handling of loads.

What is the inspiring project; “On the road to the well-being of working people” about?

These are actions that Carrefour carries out, not only in the field of occupational risk prevention, but in a broader spectrum, covering:

• Physical wellness: physical activities and healthy workshops.
• Emotional well-being: promotion of individual and group team development.
• Intellectual well-being: promoting learning and working on new skills.
• Economic well-being: discounts and agreements on services or products with prestigious partners.

As an initial phase; where will exoskeletons be implemented nationally?

In this test phase and first implementation, we are using the exoskeletons in online order picking tasks in our centers with the highest daily concentration of orders.

Why did you choose Healthy Suits exoskeletons?

To be honest, it was an impulse, an intuition, and because they seemed to us to be different from the “usual” equipment and with an ease of use that would make their integration easier.

Due to the use of exoskeletons, have the working environments of your workers improved?

It is still too early to draw detailed conclusions, but we can say that the reception has been fantastic, that the employees who are using them are delighted to be part of the initial project and that the initial feedback has always been very positive.

From your organization, are you satisfied with the results of working and collaborating with Healthy Suits?

The information, availability and involvement in the project of the Healthy Suits team has been total, which has greatly facilitated the joint work. It is a pleasure to work with this team.
